"Don't stay anywhere else - fantastic Kiwi Hospitality"

I stayed at Pebble Beach over the Labour Day weekend for 3 nights and was given a studio apartment on the top floor with a spa bath and rainforest shower. The room was fantastic, spotlessly clean and the welcome basket when I arrived was a lovely extra to have after
traveling down from Auckland. This motel provides a free guest laundry and free internet connection in your room too. What set this motel apart from many of the other hotels I have stayed in whilst
traveling across the world, is the service you receive. They really can't do enough for you and you can tell this is a family run business. They take great pride in what they do and their hard work, friendly and welcoming attitude really has paid off. I can't fault this motel and would have happily stayed a lot longer. I will definitely be recommending this little gem to all my family and friends. This place defines what I really love about New Zealand, friendly people who go out of their way to give you a trip to remember.

We stayed here for 5 nights, and could have stayed longer. We found the staff to be excellent being helpful and
making sure we had everything we needed, but not in your face, just the right balance. We also appreciated their local knowledge and frank assessments of various local attractions and restaurants.
Our room was in a word 'Spectacular', on the top floor we had a great view of the beach and from the balcony we could see up and down the
length of Marin Parade. There was an in room spa bath, superking bed, kitchen and a well appointed bathroom which even had a heated floor!!!! The glass balcony was a fantastic spot for breakfast,
although we found it difficult to get up in the morning because the bed was so comfy. The room was serviced daily to a very high standard.
We liked the fact that it was situated about 1Km from the CBD, still well within walking distance but still far enough out so as not to be affected by late night
revelers. It was near to supermarkets, gas stations etc. a great 'hopping off' point for exploring the Hawkes Bay
Although the weather was not the best for our stay, rain the first day and a cold westerly wind for the rest, the staff and the venue certainly made up for it.

We stayed at Pebble Beach for two nights in July 2010, and chose the Motor Inn based on the reviews I had read on Trip Advisor - and it did not disappoint! From the minute we checked in until the minute we checked out we were treated more like family than guests! The room was beautifully appointed and included lots of nice little personal touches. Interestingly, the second night we were there it appeared to be the only hotel in town with the NO VACANCY sign alight! Clearly its reputation is well known!
Do yourself a favour - we will be back in the Hawkes Bay area and back at Pebble Beach

Can't wait to go back! I highly recommend this hotel, Hospitality was great, staff polite, rooms were wonderful . Great views of Pacific ocean, rooms were quiet even though we were on the road, Clean Clean Clean we got great value for our money. Nothing was to much trouble. And it had a lift BONUS ! Thankyou for making our stay so enjoyable.

Absolutely loved this place. Our trip to Napier was awesome, and the accommodation is always the make or break of any trip. Pebble Beach was amazing! The room was outstanding - better than some of the hotel suites in Auckland! The hosts were super friendly, it seemed like we were great mates even though we were only there for a few days. Amazing views from our balcony, and the Spa bath was a fantastic treat!
"DEFINITELY THE BEST PLACE TO STAY IN NAPIER"

Pebble Beach is definitely the place to stay in Napier. Well appointed rooms with balconies overlooking the ocean. Beautifully clean bathrooms (wish I could get my shower that sparkling clean!). Starter pack of goodies on arrival, good kitchen and coffee supplies. Lovely spa bath. Just all round a wonderful place to stay. Have stayed at many different places in Napier over the last fifteen years (including several other times at Pebble Beach) and it really is the best motor inn in town. .

Moteliers and hoteliers the world over should flock to Pebble Beach Motor Inn to see how it should be done and so rarely isn't. It is owned and run by the friendly, helpful and professional Allen family. Nothing was too much trouble. We stayed there on 20 and 21 Dec 2007. The spacious rooms are stylishly furnished and very comfortable, with stunning views of the ocean just across the road. There is a well equipped kitchen and large bathroom with lots of extras. All the fixtures and fittings are of very good quality (so often lacking in New Zealand motels). The large spa in the bedroom is great fun, and you can sit in the spa with a glass of wine and enjoy the ocean view. There is a balcony with table and chairs. The laundry facilities are free. Everything is immaculate and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was enormous with gorgeous fresh fruit (for me) and a Kiwi fry up (for him). It was an absolute joy to stay here and we wished we could have had longer. The Allens can be very proud of what they have achieved.

Everything about Pebble Beach is excellent. From the welcome tray (including fresh milk of your choice), to the spacious accommodation (including spa bath, kitchen area, and different seating areas) to catering for every need (safe, hi-fi, plenty towels and soap etc)....and, of course, the Ocean view. Spa bath was great - perfect, given the hot weather we had and our need to soothe sore muscles after a day's walking elsewhere. Bed was one of the comfiest ever
so. Easy parking too and, if you want to walk, the town, restaurants and I-site all within about 10 -15 minutes. The accommodation really is purpose built and you can just feel the thought that's gone into ensuring that everything you need is at your fingertips. Washing powder and use of the guest laundry is free too (something we didn't come across anywhere else). Service is almost too good - we had to ask NOT to get clean towels every day (you get separate ones for the shower-room and the in-room spa). If we're back in Napier, we'll certainly be back at Pebble Beach.

"Pebble Beach Motor Inn. This modern complex trumps the town's
other motels by dint of its freshness. All the units have balconies
facing Marine Parade, overlooking the sea. It's just a short walk to
many of the town's sights, restaurants and cafes. The plush rooms are
spacious and finished in soft tones of beige and grey, and all have
whirlpool baths".

perfect location, good parking and access to the rooms. A family run business
and it shows in all aspects but in particular in guest contact which is excellent for such a large operation. the room contains everything anyone could wish for and is
spotless and well cared for. we intend to return in 2010

We didn't prebook but came on the off chance after reading their advert in the NZ Jasons Guide. Seaview and free broadband were the attraction. We spent 4 nights here and didn't want to leave.
We were 6 weeks in NZ, both North and South island and this was the best accommodation we found and at a good price.
Only caveat is that there is no swimming pool but unless you want a pool then this is the place for you.
Rooms are large, though a lot of space is taken with a huge spa pool in the bedroom.
My favourite was the balcony overlooking the sea, I spent much time there.
Unlike other motels/hotels in NZ that gouge you for limited internet access and washing machines, both are free here and it was greatly welcomed.
Property is on Marine Parade, a few minutes walk out of the centre of Napier and there was no road noise at night, just the sound of waves breaking on the beach.
Unusually for such a property, there is a lift to all floors, very useful for bags.
I cannot fault the property, friendly helpful owners and staff, a short easy walk to the restaurants etc of Napier, clean, good price, comfortable.
Without a doubt we will return next time -- if we can get in after all the justified good reviews here.

Couldn't fault this place at all - location, cleanliness, facilities, style, spa bath, bathrooms, beds, balconies, kitchen, free parking, staff. Quite brilliant. And FREE broadband. Lots of other places need to come and see this place. I WILL come back.

I arrived somewhat late as I had to travel from another location - I checked this when I made my booking and my 2230 check-in time was no problem.
I also had a mountain bike with me, and it was no problem for the owners to store this in their garage over night.
I requested a top floor room, which I was given.
The room was immaculate, and extremely well appointed with full kitchenette, LCD television and DVD player, sofa, table and chairs, balcony with table and chairs, shower in the bathroom and spa bath in the room. Free Internet access was provided (wired or wireless). And a very large room too!
Even though it is situated on a main road, adjacent to the foreshore, the room was not noisy at all. There was no noise from the road, or other patrons.
Staying at other, lower quality establishments has only reinforced how great this stay was. It was the only motel I saw that had no vacancy for both nights, so that says something!
Excellent quality and value for money.

We came from the UK and while we were touring North Island in August (Winter!!) we stayed at the Pebble Beach Motor Inn for two nights. The
accommodation is spacious with a double spa in which you and your partner can soak while watching a large screen TV (the
Olympics were on), control the stereo music centre, and afterwards make your way to the super king
sized double bed, or balcony. The accommodation was spotless. The shower room which had toilet, washbasin and shower
cubicle was spacious... the shower itself was powerful and with a very fine wide spray (rain forest?). The view of the sea and the bay from the balcony was awesome, with sunrise something to enjoy in the morning. There were chairs and a table on the balcony and room enough to dine alfresco...whatever than means. The kitchen was well equipped. everything worked. The internet was free, and the owners gave great support in ensuring we were connected. There is a free laundry room, with a washing machine,
dryer, and washing powder provided. We would come to Napier again. We would stay at the Pebble Beach Motor
Inn again.

Have just returned from a round the world trip to Australia, New Zealand and Hawaii. We stayed in a wide variety of accommodation (including hostels, campervans and with friends) but Pebble Beach was without doubt the best place we stayed.
The location is great - right on the front in Napier. It's about a pleasant 10 or 15 minute walk to the main street.
Our room was fantastic. It was large and spacious, modern, and super clean. The bathroom had a wonderful large power shower, and all the rooms have spa baths. Bliss after a day sightseeing.
The staff/owners here are exceptionally helpful. They loaned us cables for our laptop/internet and were always on hand to help with queries.
The kitchen in the unit was spotless, and washing up liquid was supplied! We also borrowed DVDs and the front desk was more than happy to help with restaurant bookings.
Pebble Inn is family run, and it shows with the warm and friendly welcome you receive as a guest. We would definitely go back here again.
